1. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use AdShot:

Account data: Email address, name (provided at signup)
URLs you submit: We scrape publicly available product information to generate ads
Generated content: Ad creatives, copy, and targeting suggestions created for you
Usage data: Credits used, campaigns created, pages visited
Payment data: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the ad generation service
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send transactional emails (welcome, billing, usage alerts)
To improve the Service through anonymized analytics

3. AI Processing

URLs you submit are scraped for publicly available product data. This data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate ad creatives. We do not train AI models on your data. Anthropic's data processing terms apply to content processed by their API.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase: Authentication and database hosting (EU-West-1)
Stripe: Payment processing
Anthropic (Claude): AI content generation
Vercel: Application hosting
PostHog: Product analytics (anonymized)
Sentry: Error monitoring (no PII)

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We use PostHog for product analytics with anonymized data. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and generated campaigns are retained while your account is active. Generated images are stored in private cloud storage accessible only to you. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Rectify inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to processing

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security on database access, private storage buckets with signed URLs, and regular security audits.
